Ondřej Kocourek graduated from Masaryk University in Brno in law and from Dongling School of Economics and Management of the University of Science and Technology Beijing, specialising in international trade. He has been working with the CÍSAŘ, ČEŠKA, SMUTNÝ law firm since 2013 and has been the head of one of its legal teams since 2017. Ever since his beginnings at the firm, he has been focusing primarily on the railway transport sector.
In 2016 he participated, on behalf of the City of Prague, in the negotiations with the international owner regarding the modifications to the contract involving the lease of ŠkodaPalace. The result was major financial savings for the City (almost one billion Czech crowns).
